Bird Identification Workshop on March 7th

On March 7th we will be kicking off our spring workshop series with a bird identification workshop! Do you wish to be able to identify native birds in Petaluma? Are you interested in learning more about our local feathered friends? Join us on March 7th from 8-10am as we scope out different species of birds that visit the Bounty Farm. We will be learning all about common shapes, sizes, colors, and behaviors of local birds from local bird enthusiast, Matt Lau. Some birds we may be able to see include Bewick’s wren, northern mockingbird, red-tailed hawk, red-shouldered hawk, house finch, western bluebird, white-crowned sparrows, and American crows. This workshop is $10-$30 sliding scale. Any amount you can pay helps to strengthen Bounty programs. No person turned away for lack of funds. Sign up using this form!

Other spring workshops include: Beekeeping Basics (March 28th), Insect Investigation (April 18th), and Pizza Dough Fermentation (May 2nd). For questions please contact [email protected].
