$1,000 Grant from Bread For The Journey

Petaluma Bounty is honored to have been awarded a $1,000 grant from the Sebastopol chapter of Bread For The Journey.  The grant may be used to help pay for printing of promotional materials, as well as gleaning equipment (ladders, fruit pickers, etc.) for Petaluma Bounty Hunters (our community food gleaning program).

Bread For The Journey in Sebastopol is one of 20 BFJ chapters across the country that donate small seed grants to local people and programs who are doing good things in their communities.   Board members from Bread For The Journey read about Petaluma Bounty Hunters in the Press Democrat (May 20th, Community Section) and were inspired by what we are doing to rescue surplus healthy food and get it to those in need.

Many, many thanks to Bread For The Journey, for this generous grant–we will put it to good use! Click here to learn more about Bread For The Journey.
