Orientation & Planning Meeting for (the new) Arroyo Community Garden

If you’d like to be part of Petaluma’s next community garden, please join us this  Thursday evening at 7:00 pm for an informational meeting about the soon-to-be-created Arroyo Community Garden.  The meeting will be  at Living Word Lutheran Church, 901 Ely Blvd. (just a few blocks north of Casa Grande).

We’ll give an orientation about community gardens in general, and then look at the proposed Arroyo Community Garden, which will be located on the property of Living Word Lutheran Church.  We will also form the Garden Planning Team, which will be responsible for designing and planning the new garden, spreading the word throughout the community, and guiding the Garden Work Days during which volunteers from all over the community will actually build the new garden.

If you would like to be in on the ground floor of this new garden, want to have  your own (or a shared) plot in the garden, or are just curious about community gardens,then please come to the meeting!
