Food riots are happening in many parts of the world as the price of food goes skyward. As this Associated Press article illustrates, developing countries aren’t the only places impacted by food inflation. Here in Sonoma County, it means that many middle class families are cutting back on eating out and paying more attention to their grocery lists, while low income families are finding it even harder to put nourishing food on the table… The question is, how much worse is it going to get–and what can we do about it?
