Fall & Winter Vegetables Class I: Seeds to Starts

Grow your own Vegetable Seedlings. Get better quality, save money, grow the right varieties for our area at the right time of year. This is a great time to begin! Learn a fail-safe seed starting method.

We will provide media (seed-starting “soil”). Bring your own seeds and containers. Seed-sowing in Bounty Community Farm flats, take your 6-packs and containers home.

Taught by Ellen Solomon and Suzi Grady. Ellen grows a garden four seasons wherever she lives. NorthBayHorticulture.com. Suzi Grady grows a lot of vegetables and is the Farm Manager at Bounty Community Farm.

Cost: $20 per person for materials and instruction (sliding scale, no one turned away for lack of funds). Or $35 for both this class and Class II: Garden Management on August 28th.
