First Farm Work Day set for Saturday, February 13th

Please join us for the first Bounty Farm Work day of the new year on Saturday, February 13th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

In addition to mulching, weeding and other projects to get ready for the spring season, I’ll be leading a workshop on making soil mixes and sowing seeds.

What to bring:

• good food and/or drinks to share (we always have a yummy lunch together around noon)
• bowl or plate and silverware (to minimize waste)
• sturdy boots, strong gloves, sun screen and hat
• digging tools (shovels,pitch forks) if you have them

As always, the menu includes some good old fashioned hard work, getting dirty, and learning new skills, and working together to grow this great community farm.  Please bring your friends and family of all ages.
