Petaluma Bounty Hunters collect event leftovers, backyard produce to feed the hungry

They’re new, and practically crowing with enthusiasm. With a cartoon chicken mascot holding a basket of food under its wing, the Petaluma Bounty Hunters have arrived with plans to rescue local apples before they go bad.
Lemons, too.
For that matter, a little Swiss chard would be great as well to glean, gather and deliver to local food pantries that feed the hungry.
