Now is the time to get all of the plant starts from our new greenhouse into the ground, and we can use your help! Please come out for a fun day of planting vegetables in our newly expanded fields and be a part of this exciting new season.
As usual, we will take a break around noon to enjoy a delicious potluck lunch.
What to bring (if you have them):
- good food and/or drinks to share (we always have a yummy lunch together around noon)
- bowl or plate and silverware (so we don’t create too much waste)
- sturdy boots, strong gloves, sun screen and hat
- digging tools (shovels, trowels, pick ax) if you have them
You can expect some good old fashioned hard work, getting dirty, and learning together, while we continue to grow this great community farm. Please bring your friends and family of all ages.
