Shop at Whole Foods on July 2nd to Support Petaluma Bounty!

When you shop at Whole Foods in Petaluma on Wednesday, July 2nd, 5% of your purchase will be donated to Petaluma Bounty, through Whole Foods’ Community Support Day program.

So tell your friends and neighbors to save up their shopping (and do their Fourth of July weekend shopping) to help make July 2nd a bountiful donation day for Petaluma Bounty’s programs, which include four new Community Gardens, The Bounty Farm (an educational urban farm), Petaluma Bounty Hunters (food gleaning program) and the new Bounty Box program (weekly fruit and vegetable boxes provided to low-income earning families at wholesale prices).

The Community Support Day is one of the ways that Whole Foods supports local communities, and just one of the ways that our own Petaluma Whole Foods store is partnering with Petaluma Bounty to build a healthier Petaluma food system.

Petaluma Bounty will have an informational table at the market all day on July 2nd (8 am to 9 pm), and we’ll also be speaking throughout the day on topics related to local food, nutrition and health, and the state of Petaluma’s food system.  Click here for a complete listing of activities taking place at Whole Foods Petaluma that day

We hope to see you at Whole Foods!  (In the meantime, be sure to let the folks at Whole Foods know that you appreciate their support for Petaluma Bounty and the Petaluma community.)
