Transforming our local food system is a tall order. It will take passion, commitment, analysis, planning, conversations, partnerships, creativity, money…and a ton of volunteer work by people throughout our community. Volunteering comes in many different shapes and sizes, based on volunteers’ interests, experience, skills and availability.

Here are some of the ways that Petaluma Bounty volunteers have been helping out:
 Community garden research, organizing and design
 School program planning
 Community partnership building and outreach
 Grant research and writing
 Urban Farm planning and preliminary design
 Fruit and vegetable collection and distribution (Community Food Gleaning)
 Excel worksheet creation and data entry
 Program research and planning
 Marketing and outreach planning
 Website planning and development (new web pages coming soon)
 Database program research

Many more volunteer opportunities await! To help out, please fill out an online Volunteer Form to let us know about your volunteer interests. We’ll then get back to you and let you know about volunteer projects or positions coming up…
