Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service at Bounty Farm, January 21st!

Petaluma Bounty volunteer hours are back – and we are thrilled to start the year by honoring Martin Luther King Jr. with a day ON, not a day off! Bring your favorite quote or intention to celebrate or just enjoy a day of work in community for community.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. dedicated his life to building stronger communities and advancing social change. Each year, on the third Monday in January, we honor the legacy of his work in battling injustice and fighting for equity and liberation. For the sixth year, we are joining a nation-wide movement of organizations that host a Community Day of Service on MLK Jr. Day. Help us kick off the 2019 season at Bounty Farm while celebrating our vision for sustainable and positive change in our communities in the new year!

Activities will include mulching, weeding, garden maintenance, and greenhouse work, Bring warm clothes, shoes that you do not mind getting dirty, lunch and snacks, and a water bottle. Event happens rain or shine, so be sure to be prepared. Families welcome! If you’d like to help us spread the word or let us know you are coming, visit our Facebook event here.
