Farm fresh produce direct from the field to your table!

The Bounty Box Food Club provides a box of fresh, organic fruit and vegetables to Bounty Box members each week, at pick-up locations near their home.

The Bounty Box is a partnership between the Bounty Farm and the community.  By joining our Bounty Box program subscribers not only receive a weekly box of high quality, farm-fresh produce, they are also directly supporting Petaluma Bounty’s mission to make healthy food available to all.

Weekly Bounty Box fees help to cover the cost of providing healthy, fresh and affordable produce to low income families and seniors, and also support the educational Bounty Farm, where community members of all ages come to learn about and experience sustainable agriculture.

How it works
Bounty Boxes are available all year round (except for certain holidays).  A typical box feeds 2 to 4 people per week, depending on the household’s cooking habits (and appetite).  Boxes are delivered weekly to dropsites in convenient neighborhood locations around Petaluma where members pick them up.

What does it cost and what do subscribers get?
Bounty Boxes are $22 per week (Wholesale priced Boxes for qualifying low-income customers are $11 per week).  Boxes typically include 6 to 9 different vegetables, herbs and fruit harvested at their peak ripeness from the Bounty Farm and other regional farms.  Subscribers also receive a weekly newsletter with recipes, nutrition information, news from the Bounty Farm, and upcoming events.

Our farming practices
The Bounty Farm is an educational urban farm designed to be a model of ecological health. Our diversity of crops, compost application, cover cropping and crop rotations enable us to improve the quality of our soil every year. We grow healthy soil that feeds healthy plants that nourishes healthy people. We never use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, or materials not approved for organic production.

Wholesale Bounty Boxes

A limited number of wholesale-priced Bounty Box subscriptions are available for low-income households, at 1/2 of the price of the normal price ($11 per week).  To qualify for the Wholesale Bounty Box prices, your family’s income must be less than the following amounts, depending on the size of your family:

Wholesale Bounty Box Maximum Income Requirements

Individual:     Earns less than $19,500/yr     ($1,625 per month)
Family of 2:  Earns less than $26,000/yr     ($2,166 per month)
Family of 3:  Earns less than $33,000/yr     ($2,750 per month)
Family of 4:  Earns less than $40,000/yr     ($3,333 per month)
Family of 5:  Earns less than $46,000/yr     ($3,833 per month)
Family of 6:  Earns less than $52,500/yr     ($4,375 per month)
