Free hot meals are provided for low income men, women and children seven days a week, 365 days a year at The Petaluma Kitchen. The Petaluma Kitchen is located at 310 Payran Street at the corner of East D Street. Please call 707-778-6380 for more information.
Weekly emergency food delivery to very low income seniors and families is available through COTS’ Food For Families program. For information, please call 707-778-6380.
Free bags of groceries are provided to very low income families and individuals in Petaluma, through the Petaluma Interfaith Pantries that operate every Saturday morning and Tuesday evening.
The Saturday morning pantry is open between 10:30 am and noon at United Church of Christ, located at 825 Middlefield Drive. For more information and directions about the Saturday pantry, please call 707-763-2454.
The Tuesday evening pantry opens at 5:30 pm at the North parking lot of the Petaluma Community Center located at 320 North McDowell Blvd.
If you are a senior, Petaluma People Services Center delivers hot meals through its Meals On Wheels program, and also serves meals in its Dining Site at Lucchesi Senior Center. For more information, please call: 707-765-8484.
The Salvation Army provides emergency food bags Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9-11:30 am. Monthly food distribution is Tuesday from 4 to 6:30 pm. For more information, please call: 707-769-0716.
The Redwood Empire Food Bank operates several food distribution programs in Petaluma, including:
- 2nd Wednesday of every month from 9-10 am at the Petaluma Veteran’s Memorial (open to all self-qualifying people earning less than 150% of the federal poverty level, regardless of age)
- 2nd Friday of every month for parents of children under the age of 6, from 10-11 am at the Cavanaugh Recreation Center (426 8th Street)
- Brown Bag program for seniors (age 60 and older) on the 1st Friday of every month, from 10:30 - 11:30 am at the Lucchesi Park Senior Center (211 Novak Drive).
