Bounty Hunters gleaning training- help us get extra produce to people in need!

The Bounty Hunters gleaning program is a network of amazing volunteers who harvest and redistribute local garden and farm-grown produce to folks in our community in need of nutritious fresh fruits and vegetables. We take from our neighbors’ abundance that would otherwise go to waste and give it to our neighbors in need. The gleaning events are fun — in most cases, you can bring your kids along. It’s having fun while doing good!

There are several ways to plug into Bounty Hunters in addition to harvesting fruit and vegetables, including driving produce from collection points to distribution centers using your truck, SUV, wagon or van, etc. Learn more at the Bounty Hunters gleaner training at Bounty Farm Thursday, September 5th from 6-8pm or Saturday, September 7th from 2 to 4pm. Questions? Email Bountyhunters@petalumabounty.org.

If you have too much produce, check out our page on food donations here.
