Community gardens serve so many important functions in our neighborhoods! These gardens provide fresh, nutritious food, improve quality of life and public health, bring us together, and uplift our spirits!
Petaluma Bounty has a long history of starting and supporting community gardens. One of our very first initiatives, Garden Starts, resulted in the creation of eight community gardens across Petaluma.
Since 2023, Petaluma Bounty helps to coordinate community gardens on city property including Sunrise Community Garden, La Tercera Community Garden, McNear Community Garden, and Westridge Community Garden.
Join A Community Garden
If you’re interested in joining a community garden, the first step is to complete the Community Garden Interest Form.
Please make sure to submit only one interest form per household, as each household is limited to one community garden plot.
You can learn more about each community garden, participation requirements, and annual garden plot fees below.
Partner Community Gardens
These gardens have available plots for gardeners or keep wait lists when the garden is full and no plots are currently available.
