Dear Bounty Community,
We know this has been a stressful time of uncertainty for all. It is with mixed emotion that we have decided to postpone all in-person farm-related activities including drop-in volunteer hours, farm visits, yoga, workshops, and Cesar Chavez Day of Service. We are prioritizing the health and safety of our community and minimizing staff operations and interactions where feasible as well. We are working on how best to continue our farm operations in the short and long term day by day, much like I’m sure you all are navigating personally for yourselves. But don’t fret! In the spirit of community, Petaluma Bounty is staying engaged by providing resource information (including an updated Food Resource Guide that will be available soon), supporting service providers in our community, and advocating for food access. We will also be launching an online skill-building series to help keep us busy during this time. Please follow us on Facebook for updates and fun activity ideas. We are working hard to ensure all of our community members have access to food and food resources during this time. While we must turn down the dial of the physical aspect of community farming, we aim to maintain our commitment to and beliefs in relying on and supporting each other in other ways to get us through these trying crises.
We hope you are staying safe, healthy and well.
In community,
The Bounty Team
