Thank you to everyone who was able to join for the community meeting at La Tercera Community Garden last week! It was wonderful to be in the newly renovated garden and sharing in plans for bringing the garden to life together.
If you are interested in a garden plot at La Tercera Community Garden, complete the Garden Plot Interest Form no later than Friday, October 4, 2024.
Please make sure to submit only one application per household, as each household is limited to one community garden plot. If there are more interested gardeners than plots available, we will start a waitlist.
Annual garden plot fees are $50 a year for community gardens in city parks.
The fee will be $25 per year for CalFresh/EBT Customers and limited income households (earning 185% or less of the Federal Poverty Level Guidelines)
Community Gardens are by nature a cooperative project. All gardeners will be required to commit to 24 hours of volunteer time per year to help run the garden and maintain common areas in addition to maintaining their own plot.
If you have questions please contact our Community Gardens Coordinator, Cait Vejby at communitygardens@petalumabounty.org.
