Need Help Harvesting?

  • In southern Sonoma County: Bounty Hunters can send volunteers to help harvest whn you have AT LEAST 50 pounds of food to pick.
  • Outside of Southern Sonoma County: See Zero Waste Sonoma’s food rescue webpage to find additional local gleaners who work outside of our geographical range.

Other ways to share your harvest:

We are passionate about reinvigorating the sharing ethic. Read our blog post full of ideas of how to share your extra here, and check out some highlights below:

  • Share your extra with friends and neighbors
  • Trade your extra at a local produce exchange
  • Feed backyard animals
  • Compost any extras that aren’t fit for eating (home bin or municipal green bin)

Good to Know:
✅ California law protects food donors from liability (AB 1219)
✅ Volunteers sign waivers to protect property owners
