Editor’s note: Ali joined Petaluma Bounty in late summer 2023 has quickly become a valuable team player on and off the farm. You’ll see her leading our extended farm stand in December and more. Here’s a little about Ali in her own words.

My name is Ali Freeman, a senior student at Sonoma State University studying Psychology & Women’s & Gender Studies.
I found Petaluma Bounty through a service learning class offered at Sonoma State which had me volunteer at Petaluma Bounty. In the past I have worked as a farmer on an organic farm and with farmer’s markets in Monterey, CA.
In my free time I enjoy hiking, snowboarding, practicing yoga, cooking, and hanging out with my cat.
I am excited to work with Petaluma Bounty in my role as Farm Assistant! I feel we share similar values on the importance of community education on sustainability and access to healthy food.
