Cesar Chavez Day of Service, March 28th

Join us on Saturday, March 28th from 9-12PM as we honor Cesar Chavez, a fierce leader in the movement for farmworkers’ rights and environmental justice, with a day of service at the Bounty Farm. Activities for everyone and families welcome! We will be working in the fields and greenhouse with activities such as potting up plants, weeding, sheet mulching, planting and preparing for the Plant Sale. We will also set aside time to honor Cesar Chavez with words, and we will have a dedicated remembrance space that you can visit all day long. Feel free to bring in items, quotes, and pictures that resonate with your personal connection to Cesar Chavez Day.
