Come to our farm on Saturday, Feb. 14, for our annual Seed Swap event in partnership with the Master Gardeners of Sonoma County.
Bring your excess seeds to share, and take home others to plant.
And while we’re at it, let’s do a cookbook and gardening book exchange too! If you have any books you want to pass on, bring them along!
If you have none of the above, come by anyway because we have seeds to give away, thanks to generous donations from Petaluma Seed Bank and Swallowtail Garden Seeds.
No registration necessary. Just stop by! We’ll be in the outdoor classroom, rain or shine.
Master Gardeners’ Seed Swap and Workshop at the same time
At the same time, Master Gardeners will be in the Unity Garden for their free workshop/seed swap event, “Let’s Get Started! February in the Garden.” The following activities are planned. Their portion could be cancelled in the event of rain.
- Indoor seed starting information table showing all the different set ups and various methods of getting started. There will be a display of lights, shelving, seed starting mixes, various containers, trays and heat mats.
- Rose and perennials pruning
- Weed abatement
- Free seed giveaways
So, come to the farm and enjoy the whole shebang!
