Farmers Market Vouchers for Low-Income Seniors

Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) is a federally funded program that aims to offer fresh, nutritious, locally-grown produce, cut herbs, and raw honey to low-income seniors through Certified Farmers Markets.

Petaluma Bounty is among the partner organizations handling the distribution of the SFMNP voucher booklets. Soon, our Farmers Market Ambassador Coordinator will visit some of the participating FM L.I.F.E. markets to distribute the booklets.

Who can get the vouchers?

According to the 2022 SFMNP eligibility requirements, people who meet the following criteria are eligible.

  • Age 60 and above
  • Household income of less than 185% of the poverty level
  • You haven’t received a 2022 SFMNP booklet

Anyone receiving 2022 SFMNP is eligible to receive Bonus Bucks as well.
