Got CalFresh Questions? Sonoma County Human Services Will Visit a Farmers Market to Answer Them

CalFresh is a program that helps individuals and families purchase healthy foods. But many people who are eligible for CalFresh may not realize it, or are uncertain about how to apply.

Sonoma County’s Human Services Department is here to help.

For CalFresh Awareness Month, a Human Services Department personnel will visit a farmers market to answer questions and share information.

  • Where: Santa Rosa Community Farmers Market on Farmers Lane, 1501 Farmers Lane, Santa Rosa (Link to Google Maps)
  • When: Wednesday, May 28, from 9 to 11 a.m. (Market itself is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
  • What: A Sonoma County Human Services Department staff will be on site to answer any CalFresh questions you may have.
  • Language services: An English/Spanish bilingual Farmers Market Ambassador will be on site to assist.
