Eligible seniors who have not yet received one this year can pick up a 2026 Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program card in September.
Seniors who qualify but cannot go to a distribution site can fill out and sign a Proxy Form to authorize a representative to pick up on their behalf.
September SFMNP Distribution in Santa Rosa
Santa Rosa Community Farmers Market (1501 Farmers Lane) on Saturday, Sept. 12, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., first come, first served while supplies last.
September SFMNP Distribution in Petaluma
Petaluma East Side Farmers Market on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., first come, first served while supplies last.
There are plans in the works for a third distribution date. We will update this blog post when that date and location is determined.
2026 SFMNP Eligibility
You are eligible if you meet all three of the following.
- Seniors 60 years old and above.
- Meet income eligibility guidelines (185% of Federal Poverty Guidelines).
- Have not received a 2026 SFMNP card yet.

ExtraFood’s Bonus Bucks
Every senior who receives SFMNP is eligible to receive a booklet with $50-worth of vouchers for the purchase of fresh fruits, vegetables, or honey.
Seniors will receive the booklet as they pick up a SFMNP card.
This Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Bonus Bucks is funded by the State of California and administered by ExtraFood.
Customers must use all ExtraFood vouchers by Dec. 31, 2026.
2026 SFMNP Usage Deadline for Customers
Please be aware that SFMNP cards have an earlier expiration date of Nov. 30, 2026. All available balance on the SFMNP card must be used up by then.
