Stephanie Joins Petaluma Bounty as Second AmeriCorps Fellow for 2024/25 Season

Editor’s note: In March, Petaluma Bounty welcomed a second AmeriCorps fellow for the 2024/25 session who joined her fellow AmeriCorps Fellow Hana to support Petaluma Bounty. We are thankful for the partnership with the Napa County Office of Education’s Neighbor to Neighbor Program. Here’s a little about Stephanie in her own words.

Hello from Stephanie

I am excited to join Petaluma Bounty as an AmeriCorps Fellow! I am originally from San Diego but I moved to San Francisco for school and have been living there since.

Previously, I worked in risk advisory and internal audit at a public accounting firm, where I worked closely with clients to assess financial and operational risks, document processes, and provide recommendations to enhance efficiency for various organizations. While I gained valuable experience in that field, I realized that I have always been interested in community-focused work and finding ways to make a meaningful impact.

Throughout my time in school, I was naturally drawn to direct service work and volunteering, which ultimately led me to this new path. Through the Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N) Program, I look forward to working with volunteers, building meaningful connections, and helping to strengthen community initiatives!

Outside of work, I love cooking, exploring new foods, and spending time in nature. I’m also a huge cat lover. While I don’t have one of my own yet, I’m always happy to hang out with my friends’ cats! Looking forward to this new journey and meeting everyone soon!
