In late 2024 and early 2025, Petaluma Bounty welcomed two AmeriCorps fellows in the Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N) program through the Napa County Office of Education. N2N members serve at nonprofits and government agencies in the greater Bay Area, helping to build thriving and connected neighborhoods that support each other through challenges.

In the following presentation, AmeriCorps Fellow Stephanie Sam condenses what the program means to Petaluma Bounty.
Dedicated to strengthening communities
The AmeriCorps Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N) is dedicated to strengthening communities by fostering community engagement and sustainable support systems. As part of the 2024-2025 service year, two N2N members — Stephanie and Hana Sedivy — are working with Petaluma Bounty to enhance volunteer programs, build partnerships, and expand community outreach.
Goals include developing structured volunteer roles, improving training and onboarding, and increasing recruitment efforts to support initiatives.
The AmeriCorps fellows have specific goals for volunteer recruitment and fundraising. We hope you’ll take a look at the presentation below and be inspired to join their efforts. For more information and how to help them reach their goals, email their supervisor Allison at BountyHunters@PetalumaBounty.org.
