Farmers Markets’ Special Funds for SNAP/CalFresh
The Market Match program is still ongoing. Even if you’re low on CalFresh/EBT balance, stop by your farmers market manager’s booth. If you want to contribute, help the markets by making a donation. The money will go directly to help CalFresh customers.
Petaluma Walnut Park Farmers Market’s “Pay it Forward Fund” for SNAP/CalFresh Support
Starting Nov. 1, 2025, Petaluma Farmers Markets will have a donation box to collect money that will go directly to CalFresh customers. Every donated dollar will be used as a “pay it forward” for CalFresh (EBT) customers.
Click here to find farmers markets in Petaluma under the Agricultural Community Events Farmers Markets umbrella.
Every dollar a customer donates will go to customers with SNAP/CalFresh (EBT) cards.
If you are a EBT customer, show your card at the market manager’s booth and receive $5 to spend at the market from the Pay It Forward Fund. The money will not only help the customer but it will also help vendors who depend on weekly sales at the market.
Can’t head to the farmers market right away? Email Kelly at info@ilovefarmersmarkets.org to find out how you can help.
