In response to feedback from the 2020 Plant Sale, we will reserve Saturday, April 24th for those that are 65+, immunocompromised, or paying with EBT (CalFresh). If you qualify for that category, please email or call Sarah at firstname.lastname@example.org or (707) 364-4866 to schedule an appointment. The intent is to ensure that those who cannot purchase their plants at other commercial outlets, due to health or payment considerations, have the opportunity to do so at our community farm .
Due to the continued presence of Covid-19 in our community, and lessons from the 2020 Plant Sale, we have made the following changes to the format:
- All customers will need to sign up for a 30 minute time slot, through Calendly to limit the amount of people on the farm as we comply with social distancing guidelines. We will post the link on our website on April 19th.
- All appointments on April 24th are reserved for people who are more greatly impacted by COVID-19 or are unable to purchase at other commercial operations. This is why we are having folks contact a staff member for these appointments to determine the best fit for the individual.
- Please limit your party’s number to the minimum number needed to get your plant purchases done.
- Once you arrive at the farm, we will check you in- make sure you’re on the list and have a mask, check your temperature, and orient you to the site.
- You will then have 30 minutes to make your selection and pay for your plants. Do your research ahead of time to make the most of your time. Consider making a list of your preferred plants and second choices as we will run out of popular varieties. Plant varieties and descriptions will be posted on April 12th.
Signups will begin on April 19th through Calendly and will be announced on our website and social media pages, such as our Facebook and Instagram You must be signed up for a timeslot to be able to shop.
Once you have a timeslot through Calendly, you will be able to choose your plants at the Bounty Farm on a first come, first served basis based on the timeslot that you pick. We will not use an online platform and thus cannot guarantee the plants you want will be in stock – no holds, no online sales, less fuss!
