Spring into gardening by getting healthy and sustainably grown vegetable, herb and flower starts straight from Petaluma Bounty’s farm! 

Petaluma Bounty’s 13th Annual Spring Plant Sale is scheduled for Saturday April 22 and Sunday 23. We’ll have a wide variety of affordably priced plants to choose from, plus gardening experts on hand to advise and answer questions.

The sale will be held on our farm at 55 Shasta Avenue Petaluma, CA  94952. 

• Saturday, April 22, 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. will be for customers who are immunocompromised, mobility challenged, and/or are paying with CalFresh/EBT. 
• Sunday, April 23, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. will be open to all customers.

Saturday’s special shopping day is intended to ensure that those who cannot purchase their plants at other commercial outlets, due to health or payment considerations, have the opportunity to do so at our community farm. 

Plant starts will be priced $3 and up. You’ll find popular favorites including various tomatoes, peppers, and strawberries. An added service will be free advice from the local Master Gardeners. The gardening experts will be on hand to help you choose varieties that will do best in your garden and how to get seedlings off to a healthy start. 

Specific varieties available at the sale will be published closer to the event on our website and social media.

Customer registration required

Ahead of the sale, all customers must sign up for a 30-minute shopping time slot through Calendly. The sign-up links will go live on April 14, 2023. Check our web page,  Facebook and Instagram for updates, and subscribe to our newsletter to be notified as soon as the sign-up links go live.

Discounts for CalFresh customers

We will gladly accept CalFresh/EBT cards, cash, and credit/debit cards for payment. CalFresh/EBT customers will get a 50-percent discount (dollar-for-dollar match), up to $20, thanks to our sponsors.

Proceeds from the Plant Sale support the Petaluma Bounty’s programs that provide healthy food to low-income families and seniors that may not otherwise be able to afford it. Grow your own food while helping others grow theirs.
