December is a magical time at the farmers markets! With winter produce in full swing, you’ll find a bounty of seasonal favorites like citrus, hearty winter squash, fresh leafy greens, and vibrant root vegetables.

Shopping at farmers markets during the holiday season supports local farmers and small businesses. Every purchase helps sustain our local food system, keeps money within the community, and ensures access to fresh produce year-round.

Farmers Markets Open in December

Some Farmers Market L.I.F.E. (FM LIFE) markets are winding down for the season, but many are open in December, offering festive vibes and quality products:

Closing in December — Don’t miss their last days!

  • Healdsburg (Saturday) 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. | West Plaza Parking Lot | Ends December 21st.
  • Santa Rosa Original Certified (Wednesday)8:30 a.m. –1 p.m. | Luther Burbank Center | Ends December 18th.

 Open Year-Round (Rain or Shine):

  • Petaluma Eastside Market (Tuesday)10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. | Lucchesi Park
