Updates to our Bounty Bag Program

Dear Community,

Petaluma Bounty has made the hard decision to postpone the CSA (aka Bounty Bag) Program for the 2021 season. This was due to production delays, staff turnover, and drought considerations. The Bounty Bag program has been the heart of the Bounty Farm since at least 2010. We are saddened to make the decision and hope to minimize negative impacts to our community of Bounty Bag members.

For those of you who rely upon the Bounty Bag program for the reduced cost, we are happy to offer the same discounts at our sliding scale farm stand every Thursday from 3pm to 6pm, starting June 24th. We will still be able to offer a 30% discount on our produce for those that self-identify as low income and a 50% discount up to $20 a day for those who utilize CalFresh.

For people who utilize the Bounty Bag program to minimize public interaction due to health issues, reach out to us and we’ll create a solution that works for all parties. You can call or email Elizabeth at (707) 364-4866 or education@petalumabounty.org to start that conversation.

We’d also like to hear from you about the impact the program has had on you and how we can possibly make it better in the future when we have greater capacity. https://forms.gle/aNBH4F8kf3hTRTqZA

Again, we thank you for your continued support of Petaluma Bounty and hope to hear from you, see you at the farm stand, or volunteer in the field with you!

In Community,

-Suzi and the Bounty Team
