Herbal Medicine from the Garden: Spring Workshop

At the beginning of the year, we partnered with the Sonoma County Herb Exchange to offer hands-on workshops exploring the interconnections and interdependence between our plants, our bodies, and healing  – right at Bounty Farm! This comes as we continue to take care of our shared Unity Garden at the front of the farm, filled with various herbs, as well as cultivate and spread the wisdom of our community members. We are thrilled to announce the second in our seasonal Herbal Medicine from the Garden series, part of our Bounty Farm Community Workshops.

Join Herbalist Abi Huff of the Stinging Nettle and the Sonoma County Herb Exchange in this hands on workshop. We will discuss the basics of infused medicinal oils, how we make and use them. We will also make a springtime itchy salve that is great for bug bites, scrapes, and more. Everyone will go home with their own! We will also discuss growing medicinal plants and creating your own backyard medicine cabinet with plants that are easily cultivated in our region.
